It's not a bad TV. The sound isn't the best but I guess that's what you get for the price you pay.

This TV (a Vizio 22" va220e LCD) is okay for the price I paid ($200)... The color is a bit above average, but the sound is horrible! I've heard some mini PC speakers that sound better. I use this TV in the bedroom, and it suffices. So, if you're looking for an LCD TV of this size, I'd recommend you find one with better sound quality.

At least I can receive stations without cable or satellite charges every month, but the sound is annoying (very flat) and the operation is very frustrating. The onscreen menu is so small I must stand right in front of it to see it, and each setting has it's own peculiarities. Sometimes I can change the wide screen to normal, sometimes I can't. I would like to get additional speakers, but I can't find anything with appropriate connections in an acceptable price range. I rarely receive constant, even reception.

inexpensive TV with below to average picture quality must sit directly in front to enjoy good picture...on the other hand has very good sound quality for a TV in this price range..remote is cumbersome volume and channel control seem backwards,
