The LN22B360 Samsung is an excellent TV for a den, bedroom, or kitchen. The considerable time I spent shopping stores looking at Toshiba, Sylvania, LG, Haier, Vizio, and the big-box stores' private labels verified that the LN22B360 is best value on the market in this screen size. Not only does it have an outstanding picture, its also cosmetically attractive with a smaller frame and glossy black finish.
I've had this set for about 6 weeks and must confess that the picture is so outstanding that at times I find myself abandoning my Sony big screen to watch the 22" set in our den. As long-time Sony fan, I had originally purchased a Sony 26", but it was a bit tight for the space. Also, the picture was very good but didn't have quite the sparkling, vivid picture I was looking for. I reluctantly returned the Sony and ordered the Samsung.
Whenever I buy a new piece of electronics, I'm always concerned that the item will hook up easily and will live up to my expectations. The LN22B360 was easy to set up and connect to the Direct TV HD service we use. The TV's menus are useful in selecting the user's preferences. The menus are organized well and easy to navigate. No complaints about the sound which is appropriate for the room we're using the TV in.
The LN22B360 was a great purchase for our family and I highly recommend it for yours.

I have always been a fan of Samsung...Have had their cell phones and a couple of small CRT tv's, and have loved them all. That fell by the wayside with this purchase. Shabby junk from the moment removed from the box. Made of cheap, lightweight, plastic -- noticeably inferior to the more substantial materials used in the 20" Philips LCD I have in another room.
The screws for attaching the stand were nowhere to be found. After a ridiculously lengthy search I discovered them inside the sealed plastic envelope that contained the warranty, of all places to put items needed for set-up! What on earth were they thinking?
Next ridiculous challenge: getting the WAY TOO SHORT screws into the deep and narrow well at the bottom of the t.v. where the screw holes were. No wiggle room whatsoever to put your fingers while attempting to line up the screws with their holes. And I have small fingers! Again, what on earth were they thinking?!?
Most serious flaw: the A/C cord did not fit snugly into its socket behind the t.v. It was so wobbly that the slightest movement made the t.v. turn off by itself. I assumed this was just a fluke with my particular unit -- until I just noticed another reviewer's tale of the same problem...with BOTH their original set AND its replacement. Obviously this design flaw was not unique to my set, but rather is a common problem.
Shame on you, Samsung, for sending junky products like this out into unsuspecting consumers' homes under the guise of your former good name!

Although my 22B36 has a great picture, the sound becomes distorted with some music and speaking voices. It's vary annoying. I've owned this set since Nov. but now that I hear it, I listen for it. Sound for a second or 2 becomes distorted with a humming buzz. I've contacted Samsung and was told to determine if the problem still existed using a DVD player or cable box. I have it hooked to non-digital cable without a box. Haven't tried the DVD but should have come back with the argument that my tube TV which this set replaced had no sound distortion. Searching the web I've since found out that other models have had sound distortion problems, not otherwise characterized. And there are numerous complaints about how poorly Samsung responds to consumer complaints.

I was looking for a flat screen TV for a small guestroom and ordered this one through Amazon because it was the cheapest and had good reviews. I used the free standard shipping and it arrived in four days in great shape (I was worried about ordering a TV online). I easily set it up myself and think the picture and quality are amazing! We have a 46" (or maybe 47?) Samsung 850 series with all that expensive HD hookup and this one I just plugged right in to basic cable and got HD channels and it looks just as great!
Highly recommend!
